IAVM WELCOMES LISA MAUGHMER AND URBAN FARMHOUSE

Good news… actually, better than good news…Great news!  Lisa Maughmer of Urban Farmhouse in Thornville, Ohio  www.urbanfarmhouse.blogspot.com will be joining us on June 30th for our second Indie Arts& Vintage Marketplace. Lisa has an incredible eye for great design, great color and great display. She’s been featured in several national publications including Country Living and Romantic Homes. We’ve all seen amazing things in magazines and wondered where we could find them. Well, we have the answer and the opportunity for you, in Lisa Maughmer’s booth, on June 30th at the Indie Arts & Vintage Marketplace.
Lisa is one of the founding vendors of the Vintage Marketplace shows.  She set up a show-stopping booth at both the Tailgate/Music Valley Antique Show in Tennessee and at the Springfield (OH) Antique Show & Flea Market Extravaganza in May.
She’s allowed me to share a recent conversation with her.
-Now that you've had time to unpack and regroup after the May Springfield Extravaganza, what are your thoughts on the debut of the Vintage Marketplace at the Extrav? Was a great show, so many vendors! I would love to have shopped it :-)

-What type of merchandise will shoppers at the Indie Arts & Vintage Marketplace find in your booth at the June 30th market? I always have a funky mix of eclectic finds for home and garden. Anything from garden statuary to soapstone industrial type tables...and everything in between including jewelry, starfish strands, quilts, lamps and so much more.

-What items have been hot in your shop this summer? So far this summer hot items have been architectural pieces, antique cast iron urns and vintage statues to be used as focal points in gardens, ironstone, brown transfer-ware and of course with summer...anything shell related.

Anything else you'd like me to include? Due to my prices and unusual finds inventory turns QUICKLY at my store. What I have today will probably be gone before show time so I'll be searching out treasures right up until I'm loading the trailer
